Card Reader

Card Reader System - Still the most effective reading aid ....

This unique audio-visual aid has helped millions of children throughout the world to develop their language and literacy skills.

The system comprises the Card Reader audio recording and playback unit and specially produced Card Reader audio cards which have a strip of magnetic tape running along the bottom edge. The Card Reader unit and cards are purchased separately.

Picture or text, a word, phrase or sentence can be printed on the card. The teacher's words have been pre-recorded in the appropriate language on the Master track.

The pupil plays the card through the unit and can listen to the teacher’s recording while reading the words. The pupil then records the words on the Student track and compares these to the teacher’s recording. The pupil can listen and record the cards as many times as necessary.

Warning - The Card Reader 1742 should only be used with the approved mains adaptor as supplied by Drake Educational. Use of an unapproved adaptor would seriously damage the unit and invalidate the guarantee.
